The type of Loris shown in this picture is called the slender loris. They live in India and Ceylon. There are two other kinds, but I dunno where they live. This is a baby waiting for his mommy to come back. They are nocturnal and move very slowly and deliberately. This helps them sneak up on nesting birds and other prey. They also eat leaves and fruit. I swear I am not making this up, that is what they look like! My mom saw the picture and thought it was a Pokemon. I think it looks more like something out of Dr. Seuss. |
